Hi,

Has anyone found a way to get the trackpad working on a Fusion II with Kubuntu?

Thanks for your help

You've probably read that others have had success with the 4.19 kernel. Unfortunately (k)ubuntu 18.10 is on 4.18 but 4.19 can be obtained through a ppa.

Can you let me know how you get on as I'm thinking about pressing the button on this laptop.

Any other issues or what's good bad would be appreciated.

If you want to try a live usb with 4.19 then fedora 29 might be worth a try. I'm fairly certain that is on 4.19

Edit. It looks like rawhide (unreleased fedora 30) would be required as 29 is stuck on 4.18.

I'm using Kubuntu LTS which is on 4.15. I don't think I'm going to start messing around with kernel patches or updates as I need this machine for work and don't really want to waste a day fixing it if I break something.

Just going to have to remember to bring my mouse with me for now I think
