Is my Build OK

My Build is below, but I want to know if there's anything I am overlooking i plan to buy a Seagate BarraCuda - 4 TB HDD and install it to this rig. Is it excessive to have a M.2 SSD Drive because if I'm honest I don't really know what is....should I perhaps take it out and make the 1st Hard Disk an SSD and add the 4TB HDD after the build?

Hi Akibab,

M.2 drives are great and for the price you are paying, totally appropriate for your build.

I'd pick a different CPU though, that one is not the most recent and quite expensive for what you are getting. What screen are you using it with? Is it for gaming, if so what games? Any uses apart from gaming?

I'll be using an either a Asus monitor (4K) or a Samsung U28E590D 28-Inch, this build is actually for my brother, and he'll be playing some games on it, probably not alot of FPS, most likely a lot of 3rd person RPG'... GTA maybe, but more importantly he'll be using the PC for video editing. What CPU do you recommend?

The CPU is overall a lot better than the obsolete 7800x.

The spec squeezes in a GTX 2080 which is quite a lot more suited to 4k gaming than the 2070. And will also help with video editing where you're using a lot of GPU horsepower for that too.

I'd strongly recommend that whatever monitor your brother gets has g-sync. You can get 4k gsync monitors from ~£450 e.g. XB281HK (well, £550 right now as we're in the period before Xmas where prices get inflated on many stores...)

How is this; is the liquid cooling too much of an overkill!? I also took out the disk drive as I realise I brother doesn't really care for it.

I don't think the liquid cooler is a good choice. It's barely any less expensive than the H100x, which is better.

I'd suggest either sticking to a modest air cooler like the CM212x - or if considering overclocking / temps are a priority, then the H100x is better value.

I'm not familiar with the V200 case. Given the price point it's at and the features it offers, I was a little concerned whether airflow might be sub-optimal. There aren't many reviews out there, but I did find 4, of which 2 were saying airflow was an issue in their opinion:
http://www.enostech.com/thermaltake-v200-rgb-tempered-glass-case-review/
https://play3r.net/reviews/cases/thermaltake-v200-tg-rgb-case-review/
i.e. air intake at the front, the vents are kind of small

It's probably not a critical failing, but more limited airflow could affect GPU cooler and so GPU boost clocks / performance. If going for tempered glass and RGB, I'd probably suggest the Corsair Crystal 460x instead, which is a very good case and has good airflow.
