Hi All.

Just some advice needed. I need to change my hard drive in Lenovo thinkpad T460.
I was unable to dis engage the internal battery via bios.(long story)

Do I disengage the battery (unplug from motherboard) now i have taken the casing off to replace HD or do I just go with it.
I have no option to power up and use bios.

Regards

Any Advice would be much appreciated.

That said, I have no idea what you mean by 'disengage the internal battery via bios'. If you can unplug the battery that would be wise but as long as the laptop is fully powered off you should be able to swap HDDs with no problem.
