Gtx 1080ti

Was building a PC and after research found that the RTX 2070 wasn't that good and a better option would be the 1080ti, but the 1080ti nor the 1080 pop up as available GPU's.

Is there a reason for this or is it just me?

They're discontinued, Nvidia stopped making the 1080 ti and I assume 1080 as well. They've been replced by the more expensive RTX series.

The only reason the 1080 ti and 1080 stuck around for as long as they did was because Nvidia vastly overestimated demand and there was a lot of surplus.

The RTX 2070 is fine, it's equivalent to a GTX 1080.

RTX 2070 = GTX 1080
RTX 2080 = GTX 1080 ti

As rough raw performance.

Just checked and it happens for me too, maybe they're out of stock (and PCS don't expect any more stock to come in) ?

EDIT: Too late, scratch that, see above :)
