Hi. Looking for a PC that I can connect my Xbox to and a web cam to so that they can both be streamed to YouTube as well as recorded for potential editing.

What would be a good set up for about £650 or am I setting my budget too low?!

Thanks

My understanding of this, is that it could be done via X-split, but you would need some kind of 'capture card' like the Elgato, to be able to record footage. I know most Twitch/YouTube streamers will have 2 monitors, one where the the game is viewed on it, and the second monitor to control the webcam and streaming app, like Xsplit or OBS. Theres a number of guides on how to do it via YouTube.

As for using a computer for streaming etc, I've seen builds combine a 1060 6gb and Ryzen 2600x for streaming 1080p using encoding etc.

The above is good guidance.

You'd need a video capture card if you don't already have one.

You don't need much of a GPU as for streaming you'll generally have the CPU do the encoding - and for that matter if you're running the game off the Xbox and feeding it into the capture card, the capture card will handle the encoding afaik. The CPU would matter a lot for video editing.

The GPU could play a much bigger role in video editing. But with your budget you won't get much of a GPU.

One option would be:

Though I'd very strongly recommend a better case and a better PSU or else you're cutting yourself off at the knees with upgrade options.

The R5 2600 is a capable video editing / streaming CPU. The B450 mobo rather than the A320 as you actually are using PCIe add in cards here. The 240gb SSD is cheaper than a 1TB HDD and you can add more storage in the future.

£160 of that build is the capture card.

AMD Ryzen is cheaper, has much higher multithreaded performance (generally better for video encoding and streaming) and the motherboard supports more upgrade options, in short.
