Faulty USB port

My PC is just over a month old and I’ve noticed one of the rear USB ports is only work intermittently, I get the noise of a device being connected an disconnected. I’ve tried various devices and the same issue occurs. Has anyone else experienced this? seems such a small fault to have to send it back for repair

If it is actually a hardware fault, it would mean there is a fault with the motherboard. That's not something you should put up with.

Is it only 1 USB port or do others give the same?

If you go into Device Manager, does anything show with a yellow triangle on it? If you expand the sections?

Did you buy a Windows license with it or did you install your own copy of Windows?
