I'm using a samsung tv as its all I have, resolution is 1360x 768 @ 60hz, will be upgrading to a monitor as soon as I can afford one. Any advice as to which monitor I should buy?

Tbh you're overspending on certain components in the system above. You should easily be able to afford a decent gaming PC and a monitor for this kind of price.

e.g.

Processor (CPU)
AMD Ryzen 5 2600 Six Core CPU (3.4GHz-3.9GHz/19MB CACHE/AM4)

Intel CPUs are super expensive at the moment thanks to supply shortages. Also that motherboard is extremely expensive and has features you're never going to use (front facing USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type C on a case with no type C at the front.. SLI.. etc)

Getting an AMD Ryzen system saves you easily enough cash for a monitor, and gaming performance will be pretty similar - and in many cases identical to the point you couldn't tell them apart. Furthermore, the AMD motherboard will support Zen 2 CPUs, so you'll have more future upgrade options.

I picked a 1080p (1920x1080) 144hz monitor with freesync. That might be particularly suitable if you like shooters or competitive PVP type games. But you could consider a 1440p 60/75hz monitor e.g. the AOC Q2778VQE (27" TN panel) or the AOC Q3279VWFD8 (32" IPS panel), perhaps especially if you like view gazing / immersive RPGs. Although it's not like you can't play any game on any monitor, those are just the stereotypes. :) These monitors are all in the same sort of price range. (240-250€ actually)

I picked a different case too as the Silencio is not really well suited to managing temperatures of high end gear. If you are looking for a quiet case, then look at the Fractal Define S.

I also took the liberty of suggesting a different KB+M for you to consider. I have the K200 and K27o keyboards (K200 is identical to K270, but wired) and they're great for my uses, but wireless keyboards and mice will run out of battery. Without warning, and usually in the middle of a boss fight, naturally. So consider wired KB+M if that is an option.

Thanks for the advice, I had a feeling I was overspending but didn't know where. I noticed in your build there's no wifi connection, thats why I went for the expensive motherboard. Can I connect to wifi with the build you suggested?

No but you can add a wifi card for a few €. :) In the configurator, section "5) System Refinements" under "Wireless/Wired Networking". The N 300mbps card (cheapest) is fine. I'd get the AC1200 wifi card personally as it gives you the option of using the 5GHz band on your router.

Or you can get a USB adapter off Amazon or any other store if you prefer.
