What's the budget?

What is the system for?

If gaming, what monitor is it being used with? (refresh rate and resolution - if you don't know that, the model number will likely be on the back or underside)

Do you have any other uses besides gaming? e.g. streaming your gameplay to Twitch? photo editing in photoshop?

Well one of my main comments on the spec above is that the Strix is an outrageous drain of cash for little to no real benefits. It's getting on for £300 more than a 'regular' 2080 ti and the main purpose of it seems to be to enable Asus to make 'ker-ching' noises whenever a customer buys one, while simultaneously flailing around trying to hold all the money people are throwing at them.

Don't get me wrong, there are arguments for higher tier GPUs. But the Strix (not even an OCed Strix) for £1350 fails hard to make them. When there are Zotac AMP!s for under £1200.

PCS's 'regular' GPU models (£1065) vary according to supply but they have been using AMP!s recently. You could ask if they still are - and/or buy and fit your own. The AMP! has been reviewed as having a similarly effective cooler as the Strix.

I'd also go with a higher end mobo (AORUS Pro) with decent VRMs for a 9900k especially OCed. And the H115 cooler as a fairly budget 240mm cooler is.. well, it's braver than I'd be anyway.

And a different M.2 SSD since that one's a bit of a waste of a slot. It's no faster than a regular sata SSD like the 860 Evo. So either a faster M.2 SSD like the WD Black, or a 2.5" SSD like the 860 Evo to keep the M.2 slot free for something worthy of it.

(revised link, as the configurator seems to have done its favourite thing of snacking on the middle part of the link it generated for you :) https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/saved-configurations/intel-z370-overclocked/Pe3mSUnNk8/ )

The spec looks solid. Very good indeed actually for your uses.

The only ? I have left is the case. The H500P has been criticised for relatively limited airflow, which affects temps (and by affecting temps, will also affect boost clocks sustained by the GPU).
https://www.gamersnexus.net/hwrevie...-h500p-review-poor-quality-and-airflow/page-2

The case was revised to the H500M with a mesh front which deals with that issue, but it is a lot more expensive here. It still wouldn't take the price far beyond the price of your original quote, but at the same time it's a good deal of extra cash going on the case.

You could look at the Corsair 570X, which seems to fare better in the airflow department, and has a similar offering in terms of RGB fans and tempered glass. And is a similar price to the H500P.

The 'down side' of the 570X is that its RGB fans aren't controlled by the mobo/software but by a controller that comes with the case (though I think you can buy Corsair Commander RGB controllers that would let let you software-control the fans). But that's not a major issue especially as the case fans are the main RGB component of your system.

And as an aside, you could consider the RM850x PSU. It's better quality and quieter. I'd probably expect to go for it at this budget level. But the TXm is fine too.
