Budget is around £2500 and the monitor is the AOC G2590PX 24.5" 144Hz Gaming Monitor and itll bacically only be used for gaming and maybe streaming

2080 ti is ludicrous overkill and a shocking waste of cash for a 1080p screen. You're just not gonna get the benefit, and by the time you do, faster GPUs will likely be available for half the price anyway. An RTX 2060 would be more appropriate (bearing in mind that the 2080 is about as powerful as a 1080).

For gaming 32gb RAM is also excessive - and not excessive in a "futureproof" way, it's just a waste of money. Games won't benefit, and by the times there are games which could really use 32gb RAM, the rest of the system will be so old that everything else will be a bottleneck instead; so you still won't get any benefit from 32gb RAM :)

860 QVO is a disappointing SSD. The Pro HDD is not remotely worth the extreme price premium.

Buying a locked i7 and a H115 cooler is really unbalanced.

Do you need the motherboard's wifi and bluetooth? Or are you using a wired connection?

You could easily get a different system and still have enough cash left over for a better monitor that would be more worthy of a build of this budget:

Or you could get a cheaper build still and stick to your current monitor.

There's just no sense or benefit to dropping £2.5k to power a 1080p monitor.

It makes a lot more sense than the first spec, and while we could debate the value of various components, there are arguments in favour of all of them (e.g. 9900k is very expensive, but arguably makes sense for streaming). While I think you could spend a lot less, it's a solid, coherent spec :)

If it hasn't been dispatched yet you can still amend it.

I'd probably cancel the monitor. What's the point of it? You already have a 144hz screen for gaming, that unlike this Asus has adaptive sync. If it's a 2nd monitor for having web pages, streaming clients etc on, then any cheap 1080p monitor, or even 1440p monitor if you prefer more real estate, will do. It doesn't need to be high hz. Or you could get a 1440p 144hz monitor with gsync like the Dell S2716DG for 'only' around twice the price of that Asus from elsewhere.
