Hi there!

In my experience, that will chew WoW up and spit it back out at ultra settings, it's overkill for just WoW... You'll be able to run the render scale at 200% (4k) and still have very solid FPS.

I would still +1 up the GPU if I were in your boots just for further future proofing, again in my experience, buying the entry tier to a GPU series has always been the wrong choice and I've always had to seek replacement before warranties even expire. Unless you're not planning on playing modern titles and literally playing just WoW... If that were the case, I would definitely reconsider your options as any of the 10xx GTX series can run that game at ultra with ease. WoW typically isn't a graphically demanding game.

Just one other thing, it appears you're only choosing to use one storage drive, being an M.2 256GB. I have purchased a laptop with this storage capacity in the past and it is quite possibly the worst choice that I have ever made for a gaming laptop. I would recommend upgrading that M.2 to at least 1tb or throw in a 1tb HDD into the mix.

Hope this helps! :)

As G0975 says, this won't break a sweat with WoW.

You may have a plan for this already as you haven't asked specifically, but 250GB will get filled up very quickly. If you have any spare budget I'd bump that up 500GB minimum (Intel and WS prices will be cheaper if needed) or add on a cheaper regular HD.

This absolutely will break a sweat with WoW if you turn the settings up.

It's fine, and will perform very well, but let's not kid ourselves; WoW is extremely demanding if you turn the eye candy right up. :)

WoW is very demanding on the GPU, and has been certainly since Draenor where it comfortably loaded up my 970 to a point I was getting well below 60fps in some situations at 1080p (GPU bound situations, not CPU bound ones of course - though there were those too).

WoW can benefit massively from faster RAM. Get the 2666MHz RAM.
