i7-9700k Undervolt

Hi,

Is anyone able to point me to a CPU undervolting guide? Lots of information online but seem to be a lot of different options (Clevo Control Centre, BIOS, third party, etc), hoping someone has a reliable/trusted source?

I've just received my new Octane VI with i7-9700k which is amazing but the CPU is hitting 95C during Battlefield V, knew it would run quite hot in a laptop but would like to bring the temps down a bit. It's already on a cooling pad.

Clevo control center would be my first point of call. Reason being the Clevo BIOS previously had issues with negative values.

CPU OC settings, set the voltage to offset -100mv.


If you are confident with the BIOS simply boot into it and go to the advanced section. Have a look for the CPU voltage and drop it -100mv. Give that a run and see how it looks.

Above sounds like a good place to start. And bumping your existing topic is fine, it's too easy to lose track of threads
