What's the budget?

What did that spec cost?

What monitor are you pairing this system with?

If you are upgrading your monitor / buying a new one, what is your budget for the new monitor?

hi it cost around £1700
Im not sure yet I need to buy a new monitor with display port.
My budget isn't very much, probably no more than £100

There is 0 point buying this PC to game on a £100 monitor.

Why display port? For something else you already own?

I think the best play would be to redo the spec to a lower price, leaving more for a more fitting monitor.

e.g.

R5 CPU is way cheaper than an i7, but in most gaming you'll see little performance difference. The RTX 2060 is suitable for 1440p gaming and is maybe half the price of the 2080.

These savings leave you enough to buy a decent 1440p 144hz monitor with gsync, (e.g. Dell S2716DG for £450) and still have a few pennies to spare. The higher resolution and refresh rate will give a way, way better gaming experience versus a £100 monitor.

Which I say as someone who is in the process of upgrading from a £120 monitor to a 1440p screen :)

I've already bought it and received it lol. It is really really really nice. But now looks like I will have to save for a monitor. Everything runs full no problems. First time I've ever been able to do that lol!! Can mess with 3ds max and unreal 4 engine better too now.

Even using flstudio with onboard sound and not a soundcard is extremely responsive and can program some heavy sounds that weren't possible before for me.

Andddddd... it doesn't make a sound. Even with all them case fans

Really happy with it

and display port because I only have dvi and the gtx 2080 only has one hdmi port and that's for my vr so I need to use the dp for my monitor. The monitor I have at the moment has a vga and a dvi-d 24 +1 pin connectors so unless I buy an active converter id need a new monitor.
