I've had the 17' Recoil II for a week now and I'm generally happy with it.
I've notice some throttling issues that others have reported and I'm waiting to see how they develop.
I did, however, notice that there was no audio software available on the system. I'd have at least expected the basic Realtek HD Audio Manager or something for the included Sound Blaster Cinema 5. Going through program manager and system files shows nothing. The only audio control I had was the basic Windows 10 sound manager.
I looked in the software downloads section of my order and found some drivers for the Audio card and a listing for Sound Blaster. After reinstalling the drivers and eventually figuring out the Chinese text PDF file to install a certificate I've got a Realtek Control App that works 50% of the time or tells me it is unable to connect.
My sound in games has now also "popping" every 30 seconds or so.
Anyone have any suggestions on the next set to take on this?
