Does Return and Collect work in Italy

I have moved this question to your own thread, so please don't keep adding your question to other peoples threads, though I think the return and collect does work in Europe - it was in another recent thread though I can't find it.

According to the PCS Terms & Conditions collect and return is only available in the UK.

6.13 For any returns due to damage or suspected faults for orders delivered in the UK, we will arrange for collection at our cost within the first month after receipt or as extended by your warranty provision. Should the product be found not defective then you will be liable for the costs of collection, re-delivery, labour and new packaging if required. We do not offer a collection for orders delivered outside of the UK including the Channel Islands.

ok, means if my laptop meet with a hardware fault.... i may pay only shipping from italy to warehouse and warehouse to italy.
not the labour and parts?
i only pay shipping? correct?

I could've sworn I saw a thread recently where someone had contacted PCS about this and they were told the shipping was still included in Europe but I can't find the thread.

If shipping is not covered then yes the shipping would be all you would have to pay presuming your laptop was still in the parts warranty period (dependent on which warranty you choose)

those are the answers i received by email from PC Specialist Support Team:

"I can confirm that the Gold Warranty is valid on mainland Italy. Unfortunately we can only offer dead pixel warranties in the UK due to company policy." (Jacob Hawkes)

"I can confirm that the collect and return would cover Italy however, dead pixel warranty covers only UK purchases." (Richard Dowds)

See, I knew i wasn't going mad (ok, maybe that should be "madder") and imagining things :)
