1080p (maybe 1440p) Gaming PC, up to 1500£

Hi guys! Even during this price madness in GPU segment, I'm considering to build my first gaming PC as my old PCspecialist laptop with 1060 6gb already want to retire. We fought and won many battles together, but I think it's time now :'(

I'm using 24" 1080p 144hz Samsung Monitor, but considering to buy a 1440p 144hz+

Mainly I'm playing competitive FPS\MOBA\BR games so I want to have more than just ~60-70 FPS in lets say Warzone. Also would be nice to have opportunity to play new titles with mind-blowing graphics and not suffer from ~30 FPS :D. I'm also curious if I will be able to stream with build that I chose and if this build have potential for upgrade (gpu cpu).

Thank you for reading my post and I'm wishing you a pleasant day\evening\night :)

Szia Kiant!

The above build is great. If you want to stick with it and if the budget doesn't allow to upgrade, then leave everything as it is, just maybe consider getting two storage drives: one for OS really fast one and another for everything else - could be slower. Here's what I would do if you budget allows spending a little bit more: changed to a better CPU which would be very good for streaming, also changed a CPU cooler because 5800X runs a bit hotter so need a better cooler. And also changed storage: 1 super fast 500GB for OS and main software and odd game while the 1TB Sata SSD for everything else.

Do note that PC Specialist most likely is not registered in Hungary for VAT (https://www.pcspecialist.ie/europe/). When I opened your specs via your link, I can the price including and excluding VAT is same, it means that once a PC arrives to Hungary, a delivery company will ask you to pay Hungarian 27% VAT (Általános forgalmi adó locally (AFA)) before a PC gets released from Hungarian Customs. I'm not 100% sure how Hungarian VAT and Customs works but PC Specialist are in the UK so a PC will be delivered from the third country (UK) to Europe from the Tax perspective.

p.s., your English is tök jó!

I unfortunately couldn't find the way to choose a delivery to Hungary so left Ireland, but do note, that changing to Hungary may change a total price slightly due to Hungarian VAT being 27% while the Irish one is 23%.

That’s a fair bit over the original budget. Given that an NVidia GPU has been chosen, that has NVENC encoding, so a 5600x could be used, which would reduce the price. another option for reducing cost would be to go for a lower spec GPU. The 3070 is over the top for 1080p and possibly for 1440p. Unfortunately, the 3060ti is in very short supply. The 6700xt could be a good option, but I am not sure if this has NVENC, so a 5800x might still be necessary for regular streaming.

Definitely. I'm not pushing to 5800X, just showing another option. I think it depends how long OP will be streaming - for an hour or so 5600X should be fine, but all day long 5800X would be indeed better. OP stressed the FPS so though 3070 is fine, but agree there's space for saving money or spending more: 5600X or 5800X; 3060Ti or 3070, or 6700X...

I will look more into it to figure out, maybe option with 6700XT will be viable. This will help to save quite a lot of cash!
