12th day pre production??!

Hi,

I had ordered an optimus iv and it is currently sitting in its 12th day of pre production. Before ordering i enquired whether this would be ready by the 14th November as this will be when i am leaving england to go abroad, i was told that that would not be a problem and it would be with me by then. After around the 8th day of pre production i sent a message asking the sam question as i was getting nervy and my probably was something along the lines of it should be there by then. 2 days ago after seeing no action i enquired to see what was going as as i have seen many people receive there orders, many which had order after me. That was 2 days ago and i am yet to receive a reply.

Not really what i expected from Pc specialist as i had come here after glowing references from a few people.

I am now very nervy and a little angry that there is still no movement plus i have yet to receive a reply. If this does not turn up by the 14th then there was no need to order it as i will be out of the country.

They built and dispatched my rig in three days (paid the extra £100) - it goes to show that they can do this stuff quickly when they need to, I wouldn't worry too much just yet. I'd be giving them a call on the 9th Nov if it's not changed by then, you can still get it in time. But feel free to give them a call now to put your mind at ease.

To be honest, once my entered building stage it all happened very quickly. I think it went into building on Friday (9th day of pre-production I think) and now on the Wednesday it's been dispatched and should be with me tomorrow. Might be worth ringing them to see if anything's out of stock.

Fairly sure they only just got their new stock of parts/chassis etc on Thursday so standard delivery which is like 9-11 working days (bearing in mind that's just over 2 weeks in total wait) I wouldn't be surprised if there's up to another week to go. I ordered a laptop yesterday custom built and it's already dispatched (11"6 inferno)

Also remember that This month & next month they will be super busy because of the run up to xmas so the lead build times will more than likely extend

I am actually currently on holiday and dont fancy spending an absolute fortune ringing them. Tbh i expect to receive an email back telling me what is going on ano now after 3 days of waiting i am yet to receive anything back from them. Tommorrow will mark the 13th day of pre production.

Not a very happy bunny right know. Poor customer servie imo.

Got home yesterday to see that order has now been processed and awaiting dispatch. Plus received an email apologising. Hopefully should have this monday.
