13.3" Lafité III - Is Linux ok on this model?

As the title suggests, I am thinking of purchasing the 13.3" Lafité III and installing Linux (probably Debian or Arch) on it. Has anyone had any Linux experience on this model please? Any info will be gratefully received!

I have put Linux on three different PCS machines of my own and seen it on a few others and the only real problems were with the Optimus VII and that was a GPU issue. I am pretty sure you will be fine with this as a similar machine ships from another company (which I cannot name because of forum rules) with Linux pre-installed. It is the same Clevo chassis the competitors are using so things should be fine. They are also quite a bit more expensive than PCS so you are better off with the Lafite anyway.

Definitely OK and exactly what I'm going to do. See also the other thread with the customer review of the Lafité III.

I've bought 4 PCSpecialist laptops now; all work with Linux. even the wierdo Optimus dual graphic card Skyfire (that I've just got back from repair) works beautifully with the latest Fedora

Any news on this?

I'd like to know, as I have a 15.6" Ultranote IV which works just perfectly with Linux (I reviewed it here) and I was thinking about a 13.3" Lafité III as a present for my wife (or for myself if she keeps on hogging my Ultranote) but I want to be sure I'll have zero problems with it.

In my plans, I'll probably go with the Intel Pentium 4415U, to save a hundred quids on the CPU, and I'll probably get a SAMSUNG PM961 NVMe that would probably make it boot in a handful of seconds, in my hopes...
