I'm struggling to choose between these three laptops. I'm looking for a powerful 15.6" laptop for software development - I'm speccing 16GB 2666MHz RAM and a 500GB Samsung 970 M2. I won't be using it for gaming - I just need a decent keyboard, touchpad, screen, and the cooling to work adequately enough that any fans don't cause attention in the office! What are people's thoughts? I'm currently leaning towards the Recoil III GTX...

The Fusion was apparently not amazing for temps, and not really much smaller / lighter than the Recoil, so probably not a big loss there.

I can't comment on the chassis in detail, though note that the Recoil's keyboard is mechanical; while many people are perfectly fine with it, I think I've seen some comments to the effect that colleagues may not appreciate it. But that depends on your office and background noise I suppose. You could check out some reviews on the Show Off Your Spec sub forum, and also the reviews page: https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/reviews/

The recoil is lighter ofc, and a bit less expensive.
