17.3 inch Defiance II wireless problem

Hi,
Just got my laptop today and have come across an odd problem. Every time I try and connect via WiFi my router lights go off and the router resets. It's not a dual band router but no other devices have a problem.

The laptop has 8gb memory, 980m, Intel 8260 card, trial OS and works normally if using Lan. I haven't added any programs except uninstalling the Wlan driver and installing the latest.

Can anyone help please? I don't know if it's a settings problem.

PCS do install Windows on all PCs and laptops for testing purposes but unless you ordered the laptop with Windows 10, and paid for it, you do not have a license to use that OS. It may well not contain all the required drivers either and it probably won't activate.

Did you buy Windows 10 with the laptop?
