Hi I'm looking at purchasing a new PC as mine is struggling on now. Looking to spend around 1k on it however will invest more if it will improve the lifetime and upgradability of the build.

I'm looking for something that can run some of the latest titles with no issues and decent quality graphics for a good few years to come and a build that will give me some options to upgrade.

Games currently wanting to play/ playing;
latest total war games
AoE 4
FM22
KSP
Hoi 4
CK3

These aren't the most GPU and CPU intensive games however it gives you an idea of the types of games I will be playing.

I have a Samsung monitor with the following capabilities;
Resolution 1920 x 1080
4ms response time
60hz refresh rate

I've posted the build I've been looing at below, thanks for the help in advance.

What's the budget for the PC?
You could also do with a new monitor, as the one you have now is basically an office monitor, so would you have a budget for that

Thanks for the responses, the monitor isn't the biggest issue yet as I can upgrade that later on.

Just want to get a good PC that is future proofed then can look at the monitor in the future.

The thing is the pc is specced around the monitor and graphics card, if i was to spec for that monitor I'd probably just spec something with integrated graphics as most of the modern GPU's would be wasted on that monitor, and you aren't going to get much for £1k

With a 1k budget could go the integrated graphics route with a solid foundation for future upgrades which would be a dedicated graphics card with a monitor upgrade

Well, let's presume you want a "good enough for 1080p 60fps with settings medium-to-low" experience (which is all you can expect for this budget right now, sadly!). That means getting integrated graphics now, but having a base system strong enough to upgrade to a dedicated graphics card and upgraded monitor down the line. @jamiephillips909 has posted the top end of this, but here's the sort of middle-of-the-road option, which would be perfectly adequate and saves you cash to put in the upgrade fund...
