With both the RAM and Drives, you have to order at least the basic as PCS only supply full systems but then you can upgrade parts yourself if you like.

If PCS don't stock the parts then they won't source them for you specially, it would be up to you to fit them

But without knowing some things we can't really give any advice?

Oh I understand. You're saying I can order the configuration without the parts I want, and install them myself?
But on the configurator I can't choose "none"

Not quite.

There's a minimum amount of components that need to be ordered, simply so that the PC can be tested before it is despatched.

No GPU (or iGPU), no RAM, or no boot drive would make this impossible, and so these will be mandatory fields.

To get around it, you need to select the bare minimum/cheapest option...and you keep these parts safe in case you need to return/troubleshoot the system at some point in the future.

No, as above, for the RAM and drive, you have to order at least the basic.

But there are several components on that build that are going to slow it so you won't be able to get the performance that's possible

I would strongly advise answering the questions raised and getting some advice.
