There isn't a 64-bit version of Adobe flash player as far as I know.

The main advantages of a 64-bit operating system in real world use are that it can load programs written in 64-bit code (which are usually faster) and also be backwards compatible with most 32-bit applications.

It can also register more than 4GB of RAM, which a 32-bit operating system cannot do.

Pretty much what Tom said, is that the architecture of the CPU has bigger bits so can be utilized faster(Correct me if im wrong). But you can still run normal x86 programs so its a win win really. With todays applications requiring more and more RAM as well, it would be silly not to goto x64.

Adobe software doesnt seem very stable on 64 bit but is getting a lot better. It all runs smoothly on a Mac but CS5 on a PC is catching up and a lot better/more reliable to use than CS4.
