3D Rendering Spec

Hi,

I do a lot of heavy Mandelbulb and Blender animation rendering and need something that can speed up the processing time without heating up the room too much and noisily fanning a lot of dust about the place. I’ve come up with the following spec based on my budget and I’d be interested to hear your thoughts on whether this will do the job;

What is your budget? Purely for these uses I guess and no gaming requirements?

That looks a reasonable spec but I would personally opt for the Nova with the AMD for high end rendering. It has so much more grunt.

Also, a PC would be a far better option in general but I understand that this doesn't always fit.

I like the idea of the AMD as I've read they're cooler running (less noisy) than the Intel's. My budget is £1500 max and it does need to be a laptop option. Is there a way of squeezing in the AMD spec that will give me the extra 'grunt'?
