Is now here: https://www.techpowerup.com/244186/...mmercially-available-120-hz-4k-gaming-monitor

Also Nvidia are hosting an event about the "ultimate gaming experience" at GTC. https://videocardz.com/newz/nvidia-teases-ultimate-gaming-experience-at-gtc-taiwan
Sadly it's not looking likely this will be a new gen of GPU reveal, but is likely to be about 4k 120hz gsync screens, among other things.

4k 144hz is also coming out very soon: https://hexus.net/tech/news/monitors/117923-first-4k-g-sync-hdr-monitors-due-within-fortnight/

As in, for real this time.

I notice, apart from the 43” behemoth in the first post, that so far the Asus and Acer models are both 27” which I find really peculiar. I would pit that as the optimum size for 1440p. Having a 28” 4K, I will categorically say that 27” for 4K is just too damn small! 32” would make a much more suitable baseline.

I’m sure this is just the start of the true 4K gaming. If nVidia are pushing “the ultimate gaming experience” in relation to high refresh 4K, they’re gonna need some superlative power to support that, unless there’s been a huge improvement in and adoption of heavily optimised SLI with the 1100 series cards?

Should be interesting.
