7770 graphics card display issues

Hi

I have bought a amd 7770 graphics for my desktop, the card works and the fan spins, but when I change the display to VGA and the monitor says no signal ? Is it to do with the power supply or bios ?

Difficult to tell without your full spec. I assume the HDMI/DVI works fine?

Yeah running intel pentium 3 ghz, 4gb of ram and 300w power supply pretty crap

The recommended PSU for the HD 7770 on PCS's website is 450w.

Do you only have 1 monitor connected and just to the GPU?

may just be that the gpu is throwing out a resolution thats two low for the monitor when engaged in vga , uninstall the driver with hdmi connection , turn off , connect vga & boot again , see what happens - it happened to me way back in the dark vga days

Yeah only monitor which is connected. Any ideas
