A desktop for Starfield with strong cooling

With the release of the Starfield specs(pasted at bottom of post), I'm looking to possibly buy a desktop pc. I currently own a gaming laptop that sits just below recommended specs. So eager to have something a little above recommended specs.

My room (in a shared rental) is south facing and the current heat is leaving the room quite warm, despite blinds down and windows open. Therefore I am also looking to have something with very good cooling, perhaps even a bit overkill. I've always had laptops (due to portability requirement) so know how hot they can get and am eager to have something that can remain cool. If relevant, It will be sat on the carpeted floor.

Another slightly strange thing, is to be able to put my ps5 on top due to limited space.

Finally, my budget is likely up to £1500 max.

Starfield PC system requirements
Recommended specs

OS: Windows 10/11 with updates
Processor: Intel i5-10600K
Memory: 16 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080
DirectX: Version 12
Network: Broadband Internet connection
Storage: 125 GB available space
Additional Notes: SSD Required

You won’t be able to achieve the recommended specs I’m afraid at your budget, you’d be looking nearer £2300, starfield is pretty hungry.

At your budget you can do an entry level 1080p system, possibly entry level 1440p

Putting your PS5 on top is going to seriously hamper the cooling of the PC as most decent cases have venting on the roof to allow air to leave (plus that is the best place for the cooler radiator to sit) so it expels the hot air out of the roof and sitting your PS5 on top of a PC tower is going to reduce the life and performance of your PS5...so it wouldn't be recommended for either.

This should do a decent stab at 1440p, although it's difficult to say realistically for Starfield until it's released and we know real-world performance vs what the developer recommends:

The 4060ti is one of the worst cards ever released, it's been widely hailed as DOA, it can't manage 1440p, and even at 1080p there are a lot of games you won't be able to play without hugely reducing settings as there's not enough VRAM

Basically any NVidia card under the 4070ti / 3080 is pretty much useless for modern games even at 1080p.

Starfield will no doubt require quite a lot of VRAM given the complex graphics although of course, this is pure speculation without 3rd party benchmarks.
