Hi

I'm looking for a gaming laptop that'll comfortably play games like Rome II Total War and my friend sent over the following quote/specs

I was hoping I could get a few other opinions from people on this forum before I proceed. Thank you in advance

That're more than fine for Rome TW 2 (!). And will play modern TW titles comfortably too.

If Rome II and older games are all you play then there are less expensive options.

Regardless, there are a few tweaks I'd suggest:

Get the RAM as 2 x 8gb so that it's dual channel.
Not all games will benefit much, but some may and given the size of the investment for the system, it would be prudent to get the RAM as 2x8gb. You will not need to add a 2nd stick as 32gb RAM for gaming won't be needed for a long time, and by the time it is the rest of your laptop will be obsolete anyway.

Get a single 1TB SSD. e.g. SX6000. Instead of 2 small SSDs. It's a lot less hassle to just have 1 drive than to juggle things between drives. And it keeps more storage slots open for potential storage upgrade. Also the SX6000 is faster than either SSD. There's no advantage to dividing things up between drives for gaming.

Drop the antivirus. Windows defender is very good these days, and there are free alternatives like Avast too.
