Hello guys. This is the first time im using pcspecialist and im looking for some advice. I want to build a new pc. I used to love getting my hands on the latest techs but years have passed and i dont know whats on the market anymore. I want to upgrade my pc that has around 5 years now and has the following specs:

- Intel Core i7 950 @ 3.07GHz
- 12.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 533MHz
- ASUSTeK Computer INC. Rampage III GENE (LGA1366)
- 4096MB ATI Radeon RX 470 Graphics (MSI)

Looking for something for ocasional gaming at 60fps with 1080p like forza horizon4, assasins creed odissey, etc. My budget will be around 45-50£ a month. Can someone share some advices?

Thanks

You're saying £45-50 per month as in the 4 year finance deal, yes?

That seems to be roughly £1600-1800 for the spec cost.

What monitor are you gaming on? For that kind of money you could afford a very decent PC and a monitor upgrade too, if you're still on a 1080p 60hz monitor.

Thanks for the reply. I will do the 4 year finance deal. Im gaming atm on a Samsung C32F391 32-Inch Curved, that i bought on last black friday. Should i upgrade it? Should i move past the 60mhz mark?

You can stick with that monitor, and buy a cheaper PC. Or spend upto your budget and get a better PC and monitor. Up to you really. :)

No point buying a very expensive gaming PC for a budget monitor though.

For a PC to go with that monitor, check the Vortex S1 on this page towards the top: https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/reviews/

It's a "Review Spec" which is a fixed, discounted spec by PCS. It's £900 but a similar spec manually configured would be closer to £1000. Or whatever that works out on finance.

It sports an RTX 2060 graphics card - which would actually be suitable for a 1440p monitor upgrade too if you wanted, and of course will do very well on your 1080p monitor.

It says "no longer available to order" but that's because it only went up yesterday, it will probably be available to order in the coming days / next week.

PCS's selection of monitors is limited, but something like the Dell D2716 DG would be a good fit.

They're ~£430 or so on other websites, though I'm sure other sites offer finance options too.
