Advice on Spec

Hi everyone, I am new to the forum and am planning to buy a new PC for: Mid - high end gaming, Sound editing, Image editing (possibly PS in the future), content streaming.

Some notes: I have gone for a slightly more powerful PSU to give room for upgrades in the future. I realise I could get by with a 450W but am also keen for a quieter PSU.

Advice on cooling would be welcome. I am really not fussed about case lights and anything fancy.

what monitor are you pairing it with, what resolution and refresh rate or make and model if you’re unsure?

My monitor is an
ASUS VS248HR, 24 Inch FHD
It's a few years old now, but I find it fine. I believe it supports upto 1080 HD. I know some GPU support 1440 which i am not too fussed about.

I am unsure of the Graphics Card as

1. If it pushes to 1440 I may not need that
2. VR, Not decided and unlikely to afford this in the next year, so possibly not worth get a VR ready card?

My current Graphics Card is a Nvidia Geforce GTX 960 2 GB for comparison.

My budget is upto £1350 for total build. I am not intending to replace my current monitor.

i everyone,

Advice welcome on the below spec.

Main uses: Sound Recording, Mid - High end gaming (not VR atm), Image editing (Not Photoshop - but possibly in the future), Content streaming.

I have gone for a high PSU than I need to give some flex in future upgrades. I also wanted a quieter PSU as the PC is in a family area and our existing one is pretty noisy. Not fussed with LED's etc and the case just needs to be sufficient.

Particulary interested on thoughts on GPU and CPU.

My budget is £1350

My monitor is capable of 1080 gaming.
