Advice on this laptop setup for video/photo editing.

Hello,

I am trying to find a new laptop and decided I would look into getting one custom built however my technical knowledge is not to great. I will be using for typical daily tasks as well as video and photo editing. So It would need to be able to run adobe and possibly 3d animations design programs too.

I know I will need high ram and a good cpu, but how good? Also I don't really know how important the other bits are and what spec I will need. Is this overkill? Can I achieve what I want with less or am I missing something. Or would this do the job haha I will be greatful for any opinions and am open to suggestions.

The Vyper chassis is probably a better bet here.

More powerful -H series CPUs, and dedicated GPUs, would be a big benefit in things like Adobe Premiere and other adobe software. What's the budget?

If you might want a better screen than either the Ultranote or Vyper offer, e.g. you're doing photo editing or graphic design, the next least expensive spec with this hardware and a better screen is the 17.3" Optimus
