Hard drives can be re-adjusted from the spec I posted...not sure there will be much difference between an m2 and normal SSD when it comes to games but I could be wrong.

To your other questions:

Free-Syns and G-Synce are AMD and NVIDIAs technology to ensure graphics are smoother and don't suffer tearing etc.
Anti-Virus: We just recommend the built-in Wondows Defender anyway...it's as good as any anti-virus
USB: The case itself has 4 front USB ports (2x3.0, 2x2.0) plus whatever the motherboard has on the rear. The speakers can be plugged in to the audio jacks on the rear of the motherboard and then the headset should be able to plug into the headphone and mic ports at the front (depending on what headset it is)

Surge Protector: Any decent one will do really.....I have one like this one as it has USB ports to make it easier to charge phones etc plus it takes up less room:

Surge Protector Tower

@Nursemorph - it looks like your link goes to a BenQ monitor
