Was that meant to be £1500
Not sure which monitor at the moment. It will be 4k 28 inch
Budget for PC not over £15000
Wrong amount should be £1550 max

That’s a shame, we could have a lot of fun with a fifteen grand build 😁

There is definitely room for improvement on the gaming side of things, would you kindly edit your original post to include the configuration link so that others can tweak your build, please?

As for the output, you’re best off looking at a 1440p setup for your gaming. I’m not the most educated on photography so someone with the brains should be swooping in shortly to offer advice 👍

As others have said here, you need to be more specific about your requirements. A 12 Core CPU is good for Photoshop, but how demanding will your Photoshopping be. I'm a Photoshop professional and it can be demanding on memory and gaming will be better with faster RAM especially as the AMD CPU loves 3200 Mhz or more and Photoshop will like it too. Also, for gaming, you're going to want a 6GB GPU or more probably, but again it depends on what games you want to play.

As for the output, you’re best off looking at a 1440p setup for your gaming. I’m not the most educated on photography so someone with the brains should be swooping in shortly to offer advice 👍

I'm looking to get 4k capture card

My main purpose would be streaming using my Xbox linked with PC.
My photoshop is more personal than professional.
Gaming not much at the moment but maybe more later, so I can upgrade my graphics card later.
I want to use a 4k monitor and capture card.
I'm looking at the best that can be bought with my budget as I don't want to upgrade next year.

Thanks to all that has replied and tweaked the components.
It is now asking which drive to put my operating system on?
Please advice.
Cheers

This bumps the RAM and squeezes in the "X" (More performance orientated) at the cost of the Motherboard.

If you are happy to pay the extra cash to have it all then it's probably worthwhile. I don't think the XT is worth it personally, I would only consider it when the budget is more open.

You put the operating system on the fastest drive, namely the M2 drive (by default it should select that anyway).

Just had a look at the spec from the link and I really hope it isn't the one you are ordering as it is certainly not the best for your budget....I really don't understand why you have downgraded the case to a much worse case and reduced the PSU power instead of getting a better quality PSU. Have these been done because of budget?

The cooler really needs to be better as well. Honestly, that build seems to have luxuries like the Samsung M2 at the expense of the basics....it's like buying a Formula One engine then putting it in a Ford Fiesta body and, instead of upgradin things like tyres, brakes etc, spending the money on a stereo system
Hi the reason why this is my set up is that I haven't a clue how to make a custom PC.
Only ever bought off the self. So every bit of help goes a long way.

Sorry to be a pest, would it be ok to install a 4k capture card with this spec?
Yes, the CPU has ample headroom in it.

The Elgato 4k 60 Pro is the one to go for, unfortunately it's currently out of stock on PCS but should be easy enough to find elsewhere.

Thank you. That's the one I'm looking for. Would it invalidate my guarantee if I fit this myself?
Or could I send it to you for fitting?

PCS have an open chassis policy so you can make any upgrades or changes you like to the build so long as it doesn't break it whilst doing so and it won't affect your warranty. They're extremely good like that!

It's very easy to fit yourself if you're comfortable doing it?

BTW, none of us work for PCS, we're all just customers and fellow techies who want to help out :)

I have one more question. Why is the power supply selected so high when I proceed message come up that I could use a lot lower one?
Cheers

It’s a higher tier PSU so much better build quality, plus it will allow any future upgrades you wish to do. You never spec the PSU to the power of the machine you’re building but rather to the max that it could be upgraded to in the lifetime of the build.
