what about gaming ? and i dont get it. some thread say that 1090t is 6mb cache and here is 9cache. which means that i7-930 8mb cache will not perform better than 1090t

Here's some benchmarks where the i7 920 out performs the 1090t

yes but the whole point is the components you try to fit in ur case.
I will stay on amd. there is no big difference .

p.s i never used amd before.

ok so u say instead of 6 core amd phenom 1090T want to buy i7-930 quad core? 4cores ?
i dont get it. for the amount of money which i wanna spend the best one is the amd

With Hyperthreading the I7 930 shows up as 8 CPU's in Windows.

upgrade meaning ?
well there is no program that take advantage of all 6 cores now, as far i know, but it will be in the future right ?

Upgrade means you could put an I7 980 X in the same motherboard if you wanted to later on. With the AM3 platform at the moment you have nothing to upgrade to.

We have been waiting for proper 4 core support in programs for a few years now, its taking a long time. So im not sure when true 6 core support will be around.

There are still many programs that only use 2 cores. Not many developers see a real advantage in using 6 cores yet, and it may still be a while before they do. So what would be the point in trying to develop for a 6 core processor when it can perform perfectly on a processor with less cores. This is why 6 cores isn't really supported yet.

This is LDUK approved lol. Great spec, I would go for 6GB corsair RAM though. It's faster. But the Samsung is more stable. As your a gamer, I would advise the 6GB Corsiar :)

so in other words if i want to upgrade intel, i just need processor instead of upgrading amd which has their latest pc in the market right now.

but in the end, intel will change their socket sometime now! so am too confused and i really cant decide.
i7-930 = better performance/gaming
1090t = multitasking and gaming?

They're both great choices, and both options will give you good multi-tasking and gaming performance. Which ever choice you make, there will always be differing opinion.

Either PSU will be fine for the CPU, so it depends on what graphics card you going for. If you are going with the GTX470, I would recommend the Corsair 850W as this will also cover any upgrades you make in the future.
