An insane PC build ... Help

Coop

I am quite new to the PC world and I want to build a PC that I can stream games, play music/YouTube and browse the web at the same time while remaining around 300 fps in game. I also do some photo and video editing with Photoshop CC 2019 and Sony Vegas Pro 17, this is for my social media platforms (I am a small streamer). I have no price limit and want the best parts so that I wont have to upgrade for a while. Please help, thanks :)

Which games are you looking for? I guess it's competition level with 300FPS in mind? Bare in mind that I think the limit at the moment is 240hz without overclocking.

I'm guessing you're going to be gaming on 1080p? Do you have a monitor already? Peripherals?

Many games, no amount of money can guarantee 300fps, depending on the s

So as above. What games, what monitor, etc?

Thanks for the replies, mainly Fortnite competitively and I am upgrading to a 240hz 1080p monitor, and I got everything other than the PC sorted because I didn't know what parts are good/go together well. Thanks again :)

Something like this would work well. There are a few nice to haves in here such as the faster M2 drive and the RGB platinum cooler (best to be had). I would have preferred the Define S case but I believe the Define S 2 is imminent so no longer available. This should see you hit 300 FPS on medium/high settings in fortnight. I don't think the 2080 Super will get you what you need.

Looks great :)

Though if you play Fortnite competitively, you'll be playing on mainly low settings. Not sure the there's any point to the 2080 ti in that case? I think a much lower end GPU would be more than fine, though not sure which.

What about the Fractal Meshify S2 case? Not quite as quiet but good for airflow and thanks to the glass side panel you get to enjoy the RGB of the cooler

USB/Thunderbolt Options
2 PORT (1 x TYPE A, 1 x TYPE C) USB 3.1 PCI-E CARD + STANDARD USB PORTS
I'd drop that!

Must have been a remnant from a previous persons build. I never select any of that malarkey :ROFLMAO:

I did have a look at the 2080 Super and it was around 250 FPS on low settings according to some benches. Thought the 2080 Ti, with the open budget in mind, would be the safe bet.

The 250fps at low on a 2080 Super may be (probably is from what I hear of it) because by then the game is CPU bound anyway - especially in the endgame.

I think it's worth some proper research rather than throwing a £1000 GPU at a problem a £300 GPU could solve for the sake of a few mins on google. :)

Edit: found something quicker than I expected:

RTX 2060 Super it is.

I gather that the endgame is much more CPU limited, too, so no point beefing up the GPU it seems.

That's insane o_O

I did actually google, hence the 2080 Ti, I think that was medium settings though.

It was battle royale that I was looking at...

I didn't check further down when I saw that though as I didn't realise it was the CPU limiting it. OC 9900k to the rescue.

gpucheck... for real :S

This is one of those like GPUboss, CPUboss, Game debate, etc that is best avoided like the plague, no?
