Hi,
For gaming I would suggest the i5-3570 and a single stronger gpu rather than crossfire. 8gb memory ram is plenty for your intended use and you could consider a caviar black as your secondary drive. What is your budget?

Problem is I' ve already purchased but the budjet was £2000, my intent was to try an AMD processor for a change my last gaming system had an intel I7 920 and an amd radeon 5770 but after 3 1/2 years service packed in, i got an extended warranty from acer and had to get it repaired 3 x. I bought a laptop from Pc speacialist and it works fine no dramas. I guess as much with the processor been looking at the processor benchmark test as well as asking a few friends whats best, pc speacilist have built the unit now so will have to go with it. Did'nt discover the forums until after I sealed the deal. Never mind.. Will it still serve as a good gaming platform I am a total fan of the total war series and eldar scrolls?

In all honesty mate if your going to be playing Total war games your better off getting an i5 3570 as Total war games are very CPU heavy and for the new Rome total war (which I cannot frickin wait for!) the team at creative assembly are working exclusively with intel so the game will be better optimised intel processors, I have just purchased a new gaming system from PCS with an i5 3570k (the K version is so I can overclock in the future) ready for Rome 2 total war, you can still amend your order if its before the testing phase if it helps.
