Depends on budget, price, intended uses (gaming, non-gaming, specific software) and what monitor(s) is being used.

As a general recommendation, holding off until 7th July for the new Zen 2 CPUs and 500 series motherboards would make a lot of sense.

i have 2 4k monitors Acer Predator XB271HKbmiprz 27 Inc
budget around £3k

also is it worth upgrading the cpu to i9-9900X as ive heard the 9900k bottlenecks the gpu?

Not sure where you heard that, but that’s not accurate.

It really would be a good idea to hold off for the zen 2 release on 7/7 as they’re set to smash intel at a lower price point with newer technologies like pcie 4 , 5000mbs nvme drives and 5GHz ram.

Would be crazy to buy intel now.
