My 1080 was still going strong up until the start of this year then the little guy was struggling and very slow in productive areas so unfortunately was forced into upgrading to 5800x 3080 build I have regrets I wanted to wait for the next amd chipset agreed with spyder I think its going to be a great chipset in ideal world would of gone 5900x for lower thermals but the 5800x does its job in spades extremely impressed with it as with the 3080 im glad I did not wait for the ti variant was a little disappointed with price to performance I upgraded because I was sitting on a struggling 1080 and my base system used a horse and cart to get around so it was time to do it if I was sitting on the last gen I personally would not upgrade just yet
