Anyone interested in new music?

I'm currently waiting on a new PC to be built from PCS and need something to help pass the time so I thought I'd start a discussion about discovering new music.

Anyone been to any good gigs recently? Anyone heard something new that they think needs to be shared with others??

I saw this band recently in London called Virgin Soldiers. They combine contemporary and classical instruments and have a very unique sound.

Just listened to Moon Song. Not bad, but a bit too much focus on the lead singer woman, who while a reasonably good singer is a bit... raspy? to be the 95% of the singing.

Btw, I would include most classical instruments as 'contemporary', considering how often modern songs use violins, bass, or your usual woodwind kind of instruments.
