I had APB pre-ordered anticipating it's release and paid for gametime hours too. It was a fairly good MMO however it was extremely disappointing that RTW went into administration and thus APB subsequently died. As for EA offering compensation - The most I got was a 25%-off coupon which didn't even function. =C

What I really would of liked to see is for them to of released the server-sided files to the public.

Some people that bought it through Steam and sent off support requests explaining their feelings about paying for a game to lose it so soon after were given courtesy games although I'm not sure what ones (most likely Valve ones though).

A UK games company went bust because of the crappy coalition government cutting their tax breaks. Its now about 40% cheaper to develop in Canada forcing them to move or die like in this case...

Irony being that the games industry is bigger than holywood and long term this is damaging to the country but there you go, thats what happens when morons who dont have a clue are running the country....

You forgot Sweeney, its "for the good of the country." I can clearly see how cutting jobs, and raising taxes is deffinatly helping people get jobs :)

Me and a group of friends that had this game all called ea a few weeks ago and got a choice of a free digital download from their online store, even some people that didn't have the game managed to blah a game out of them!
