Hi there I have recently ordered a desktop from PCS and when I plug the keyboard into the back I get nothing but when I plug my Steelseries Sensei mouse in it works but the Steelseries engine doesn't pick it up I have seen this is a problem on these motherboards but can't seem the resolve it, also if you plug a USB stick in it will pick that up just not the mouse and keyboard I have installed all the drivers for the motherboard as well, has anyone else had this problem?

Thanks in advance

Hi same problem on the ASUS® Z87M-PLUS motherboard

Want to hear the nightmare, it only has ONE PS2 slot, so I can only have a keyboard or mouse working, I am about to try and boot in with a PS2 keyboard only as the USB mouse/keyboard won't work, when plugged into the normal USB 1.0/2.0 or the USB 3.0 slots

Trying to do research on the net, but only found things about enabling Legacy Support for USB on the motherboard in the BIOS but that is already ENABLED.

Its weird as both the USB mouse and keyboard work fine in the BIOS but when booting into windows the USB Keyboard NUMLOCK light goes out and then nothing, both won't work at the Windows 7 loading screen

Any help would be greatly appreciated as we have 3-4 of these PC's with these motherboards

Just an update managed to get Windows 7 setup done using just the keyboard and plugged he mouse in. Windows 7 recognises its a OPTICAL MOUSE in the Device Manager but won't actually install it.

At the moment I am running updates just using the keyboard with TAB and SPACE, to see if its a Windows hotfix installed or something

Will keep you updated
