Bios setting for genesis ii

I would like to use the Virtualization setting of my Intel i5 processor.

Do I have to do anything in the BIOS to enable this or is this turned on by default?

Reason I am asking is because I am having problems with HYPERVISOR in Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 working fine until I added this as a role.

Thanks in advance.

I believe this aspect of the CPU is enabled by default, but I recommend entering your BIOS to check. It will likely be as easy to spot setting if it's not enabled.

Have you installed server 2008 on your laptop, or are you accessing a computer with server 2008 installed through your laptop?

I have just checked the BIOS of the Genesis Laptop and found no option to enable/disable the Intel Virtualization Technology so can only presume that this is automatically enabled.
