Black screen after wake from sleep

Hi,

Bought a laptop around Christmas and all has been well with it up until now. Recently (in the last week or 2) it has not been waking from sleep. The keyboard backlight comes on but there is nothing on screen at all. The only way to get it to come back to life seems to be hold down the power button to make it shut off, close the lid for a at least 10 seconds and then open lid and start up again. To be honest closing the lid may or not be part of the process. My next step will be to power it off for 10+seconds with the lid open and then restart.

Any thought's on what I can check or where I should look?

Disable Fast Startup, its a known cause of issues like this.
