Black screen/loud fans

This morning i turned my pc on as normal and it didn't start up properly, the fans were loud and just gave me a black screen, i tried restarting via the power button on top, but just gave me the same result so i turned it off at the plug and power supply then back on and it worked fine.

Was just concerning since the pc is only a few weeks old, probably just a minor glitch what's occurred but can never be too sure.

Joining in to hear what is said on this one, my PC does this very rarely, it's not anything to do with sleep function as it can do this from full shutdown, power off at the wall to turning on again. My fans don't go loud as such but no signal is sent to the screen. There is a little light on the motherboard which when I boot successfully, usually goes, yellow then green, when it boots with this black screen/no Windows loading it stays yellow, I have left it for several minutes to see if it comes unstuck but it doesn't.

I have to hit the reset button then it fixes itself. Mine has done this since brand new delivery from PC Specialist. Only now after 5 months have I decided it's annoying enough to come to the forums for a solution.

@ubuysa It's much appreciated sir, I think this might be a more common bug than just @jaydenrw98 and myself, I've seen this same issue mentioned on tons of recent posts, people describing it in a different way but the same issue, black screen boots. Thinking a sticky could be a time saver if it turns out to be wider than first though.

I appreciate the time you guys put in to helping from pre purchase right the way through!

In addition to what @Nursemorph has said, you might try running an sfc /scannow command to check your system files and then a chkdsk /f on the SSD to check your file system structure. Also make sure all your drivers are up to date.

update: Was loading into a game of pubg, i then opened up the application "speccy" to check something, and then my pc crashed forcing me to restart it. Upon restart it did the same thing where nothing loads/black screen while the fans are loud, also saw an orange light next to the ram.

I just checked your motherboard manual here and there is no orange LED. There is a yellow LED which indicates a RAM problem and a red LED which indicates a CPU problem. Perhaps both were on?

I note that earlier you mention the yellow LED being on. This would suggest a RAM issue. First off, pop both RAM sticks out and then ensure they are inserted fully home.

If you still get the yellow LED then download Memtest, use the extracted tool to make a bootable USB stick and then boot that USB stick. Memtest will start running, leave it running until it's completed all four iterations of the various tests - this will take many hours, at least overnight.
