Bluetooth Driver Missing

I bought a PC Specialist desktop through EBuyer in November. It was fine up until last weekend, where it wouldn't boot up and had the 'repairing disk error'. I managed to re-install a new copy of windows and it is now working, however the Bluetooth has gone.

I've tried looking to find a compatible driver to download but can't seem to find one. Does anyone know where to get one? My specs are:

Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 Six Core CPU (3.6GHz-4.2GHz/36MB CACHE/AM4)
Memory: 16GB Corsair VENGEANCE DDR4 2400MHz (2 x 8GB)
Hard Drive: 256GB M.2 2280 SSD
1TB (1,000GB) SATA III 6Gb/s 7200rpm
Software: Windows 10 Home 64 Bit
Graphics: 6GB NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 1660 Ti - VR READY!
Audio: On-Board 5.1 High Definition Audio
Networking: WIRELESS 802.11N 300Mbps/2.4GHz PCI-E CARD
LAN: 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet
Power Supply: CORSAIR 450W VS SERIES™ VS-450 POWER SUPPLY

The Bluetooth is likely from your motherboard or potentially the wireless card (although this is usually specified in the name of the card). I notice in your specs above you missed out the motherboard, do you know what motherboard you have? If you know the motherboard (and assuming the board indeed has bluetooth), you could check their website to see if there are drivers available.

I'm not sure what else you get when you buy the PC from eBuyer, do you still receive a 'welcome back' with the various spares and driver disks etc? You could start there, although its possible that the bluetooth driver has been updated since then.

When you reinstalled Windows was that from bootable media? From where did you source the drivers?

Generally when reinstalling because you're having issues, always do a clean install from bootable media deleting all existing system partitions. Once Windows is installed allow Windows Update to find and install the right drivers.

Thanks both for getting back to me

The motherboard is

Asus Prime B450-PLUS, before I had the repairing disk error the Bluetooth was working fine so I assume this does have Bluetooth.

The PC did come with a couple of disks, one for the motherboard and a Gainward Driver and Utility disk, which looking at the install guide for it looks like it's for the graphics driver. However, I don't have a disk drive on my PC so can't actually use these.

I got the Windows bootable media from the Microsoft website https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/sof...X9s5i9tFfsSRQhh-zvxwjfYOT5DSezogZQ0g7yVnMOBWM

I've checked if windows needs updating and it's saying it's all up to date

Might be an odd question, but had you actually connected to it via bluetooth at all?
I cant see anything about BT with that motherboard, and your networking options dont have it either.

Not an odd question at all. I have connected a wireless keyboard via bluetooth to it before, so i know it has the capabilities, it just doesn't seem to anymore.

There is no mention of Bluetooth in the motherboard spec, did you not use the dongle that came with the wireless keyboard (it should be noted most wireless keyboards are not bluetooth, they typically use the 2.4 Ghz wifi frequency, obviously yours may be one of the actual Bluetooth ones of course)?

Could just try connecting the keyboard again see if it works?
It would be unusual to have a keyboard that connects via bluetooth, bluetooth tends to have a bit of lag to it (you might notice with bluetooth speakers that video doesnt line up quite right with audio at times for example)
