Hi all,

I bought a desktop pc through very which was made by pcspecialist for them I am guessing , due to the information they supply.

my question is on the warranty side of things , do I need to register my purchase with Pcspecialist or will the Very invoice cover me for warranty.

Also I have updated windows 11 on the system and the drivers , I am hoping this doesent invalidate the warranty , i was also wondering about the Bios as this is four versions lower than the latest Bios .

Thanks for any responses , and I apologise if the answers can be found in other posts.

Regards

Hiya

Yes, you'd need to register it with PCSpecialist over the phone, that will activate your warranty and give you access to an online account. You just need proof of purchase to do this.

Sofware has no impact on warranty, you can do whatever you like software wise. Hardware wise, you can perform most upgrades as you want as well without impacting warranty so long as you don't damage anything in so doing. This is aside from a motherboard upgrade which isn't covered as it's essentially a full system rebuild.

Regarding BIOS, that is something you need to have PCS approval before updating, best run this past them when you register the PC.
