Hi there,

Not a bad attempt but it could do with some optimisation. Luckily you can make amendments up to the point of build without incurring any admin fees or losing your place in the queue.

To help us get you the most out of your build, please could you answer the following:

What is your budget for the PC?
What are you using the PC for? E.G gaming, streaming, editing, office work etc
What monitor are you pairing this with?

I believe it’s this one, I haven’t used it yet or know much about it but it’s this exact same one
I wouldn't recommend that, it's only 60Hz which is a very poor experience for a gaming rig. 1440p 144Hz would be far better. It's also insanely expensive for a 4k 60Hz screen.

You're basically restricting yourself to last gen console experience while paying 6 times the price, just doesn't make sense.

There's a reason why PC gaming is so much better than console, and a big part of that is proper gaming refresh rate (144Hz minimum)

Firstly, let's get the PC right.

What's your max budget for both PC and monitor? You can't afford a 4k gaming system, the monitor alone for entry level is around £800. 1440p would be a really good experience and you could get a high quality monitor to fit it.

With gaming systems, the whole system has to balance, the monitor is the final link in the chain, if any part is out of balance, you get reduced performance. at the monitor.

The budget for just the pc is £2300 and the pc above is the one I bought, I can still ammend it if you recommend stuff to change

Thank you, I’ve ammened my pc it’s £175 more which is ok, and the cpu being i5 and not i7 will not effect gaming and streaming big games?

No, not at all, the difference between the 12600 and the 12700 is marginal at best at 1440p. As you go up resolutions, the load goes from CPU bound to GPU bound so CPU is less important for gaming. The GPU is more important.
