So my new PC from PC Specialist has just arrived i set it up following every piece of instruction and as soon as i turned the computer on it started to make a ticking/clicking noise which i am unsure what it is and if that is meant to be happening so i would just like some input on what i should do if anything. I could possibly record the sound and post it on here some how if that would help identify what the sound is. I really appreciate anyone who answers/helps
Thanks.

If you can post a recording that would be helpful.

2 usual causes are something obstructing a fan or hard drive, 2 very different sounds. Does it continue the whole time the PC is turned on, or does it stop after say 5 minutes of powering up?

Its the whole time the computer is on. When i open up the computer and apply little force against the PSU is gets start to stop so i am thinking somehting is loose? Heres the sound: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R2aJpwI7eBI
Thanks for helping. Nothing is catching on the Processor fan or the fan underneath the PSU.

I see, yeah, that's not a great sound, sounds like a bearing is dodgy on the PSU. Hate to say it, but you may need to RMA the PSU. If you arrange an RMA and point PCS to this thread, they can listen to that clip and hear it for themselves. Unfortunately things like this can happen in transit.

I would hate to RMA it, have been saving up and waiting to get this computer for ages. Everything seems to be working fine on the computer.

When my original PSU blew, PCS sent out a replacement on a "swap" agreement (basically, courier arrived and we handed over the old PSU and they handed us the new one) - saved sending the whole machine back. They may be willing to do similar with you (if you are reasonably confident in swapping out a PSU yourself - the molex connectors can be difficult to remove in some cases).
