Thank you in advance for the help.
I am looking at getting a new desktop, I currently have an 8 year old all-in-one Lenovo which I still use Photoshop and Elements CS5 on so I need to move into the modern age. I want my new computer to be able to run Premiere Pro, I don't do anything professional on there, just messing around with my own videos.
I was wondering what spec's to get, from research everything suggests an i7 processor, not sure on the best RAM to get 8GB or 16GB etc. If anyone has any suggestions, I am looking around £1,000-£1,500 price but would prefer nearer the lower end of that budget so I can also get a screen on top, but I would be able to stretch if it was worth the upgrade.
I won't do any gaming on it if that makes a difference.

The budget doesn't quite allow for the i7, which would be nice but not overly important. Below is what I would recommend for your uses. You could save on the RAM by opting for 16GB over 32GB. The higher the RAM the sweeter premiere will run for previews etc, it's less important at hobbyist level though
