Yeah should be a grand match, good see Farrell on the bench rather than starting.........

Lions and fans not happy that South African Marius Jonker is the new TMO after New Zealander Brendon Pickerill was unable to travel because of the Covid-19 restrictions.

Looks like former Irish international Neil Francis has upset Quins and The Lions after an offensive description of fly-half Marcus Smith in a podcast last week, basically referring to his skin colour. He has provoked complaints form both and also been dropped buy Publisher Mediahuis Ireland as a result

Cor, that was hectic. Not sure if we deserved that but I’ll take the W. Courtney Lawes had an absolute blinder, and Itoje is back to his pre 6 nations form. Interesting to see the fallout from this, if Biggar is injured, if Hamish Watson gets cited, but 2 more very exciting tests ahead.

Very close match, but Lions dominated the second half. The refereeing wasn’t the best. A lot of high tackles seemed to go without punishment. Should be an exciting test series.

yeah, Itohe was great, really making his height and long arms work, if we'd have played the same in the first half as we did the second..........

Itoje was stupid-good (as he so often is). Lawes was the best I've ever seen him. In the second half, the whole pack (bar that Hamish Watson tackle that should have been yellow or even red) was awesome. I was not expecting to see South Africa giving up scrum penalties and going backwards in possession.

Thought the Saffers should have had a sin bin for the continued pens in defence, Lawes was immense as was Itoje and the replacements all played their part especially in the scrum, brurtal game and a great game to watch

Yet again Mako was great when he came off the bench

Just Mako being the gentlemen he is................
Just a service he provides to opponents who have grievous injuries.

(To be fair, I think Price played him in the air and it should have been a penalty. But the milking is ridiculous and definitely not rugby.)

Couple of changes for Saturday. Daly gets benched, works very well as a utility back replacement, let’s hope Harris holds his own in the 13 channel. Hope Conor is a bit more consistent with the box kicks, with Price adding a bit of fizz off the bench. Faletau earns a place on the bench, not sure if that’s due to rotation or due to Hamish Watson receiving a suspension?
Mako breaks into the starting XV after a strong scrummaging display last week.
