Broke old toshiba hoovering it out, recommendations <£500 laptop

Hi all, so I think I killed our old laptop hoovering it out to clean it. I took it apart and gave it a once over with the dyson! Yes I know, stupid. Now it wont switch on!

So recommendations for a new laptop considering in the current climate I cant get this one repaired. And its about 8-10 years anyway. I dont want to spend anymore than £500. We mainly use it for day to day basics, surfing, youtube etc. But my wife is doing a lot of video calls and conference meetings at the momemt and probably will be for the next 6 months, so hopefully something that can handle this.

I did see this (specs below)

Let me know your thoughts and any other suggestions you may have.

Thanks

Rich

They come fully built, but they’re custom so you can select which components go in it.

Wow, thanks for taking the time to do that, much appreciated. I really didnt want to pass the £500 mark tbh. Not 100% what all the above means either ha, but thats just my lack of tech knowledge. Thanks again. Will have a think about it 👍

TBH, given the same choice, I'd go with the Lenovo, it's just as powerful but a nicer form factor.
